THE CONCERN

When Skin Needs More Than Surface Care

Loose texture, enlarged pores, and deeper lines do not always respond to skincare or a light peel. They sit deeper than the surface, in the structure of the skin itself, and that is where most treatments simply cannot reach.

The hesitation we hear most is about the treatment, not the concern: worry about burns, real downtime, or a needling device with a premium name and nothing extra behind it. That caution is fair. Not every clinic treats to a controlled depth, and not every provider is honest about what a single session can do.

Done conservatively, Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy through fine microneedles to a specific depth in the skin, remodelling the structure beneath the surface without cutting it open.

Five Star Google Reviews, Rated 5.0 Overall

I underwent the Morpheus8 treatment with Natasha, who was not only highly knowledgeable but also took the time to explain the benefits of the treatment and suggested additional options to further enhance my results. I truly appreciated her thoroughness throughout the procedure; I never felt rushed, and she ensured my comfort every step of the way.

THE TREATMENT

How Morpheus8 Works

Morpheus8, sometimes written Morpheus 8, combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. Fine needles create controlled micro channels while delivering RF energy to a precise depth in the dermis, stimulating collagen and remodelling deeper tissue that surface treatments cannot reach.

At Promethean, your depth and energy settings are mapped to your skin thickness, the concern being treated, and the area of the face or neck, not a single default setting used on everyone. We plan a series rather than promising a one-visit transformation.

Most patients see redness and pinpoint marks settle within two to four days, with texture and tone continuing to improve over the following months as new collagen forms. A course of three to four sessions, spaced several weeks apart, is typical. Individual results vary, and we will tell you honestly what to expect for your skin.

Still deciding between the two options? Our guide on Morpheus8 vs microneedling compares depth, downtime, and cost side by side.

HOW WE PRACTICE

The Promethean Standard, Applied

The same four disciplines govern every treatment we offer, including this one. This is what medically led means in practice.

  1. 01

    Assess

A medical assessment of your health history, your anatomy, and your goals, and an honest answer on whether this treatment is right for you at all.

You leave knowing what is realistic for you.

  2. 02

    Plan

A written plan for your treatment: dosing or settings, timing, cost, and what it will and will not change. Nothing added that does not serve the outcome.

You know exactly what to expect, and why.

  3. 03

    Treat

Conservative technique from our nurse practitioner led, physician supported medical team, in our purpose built clinic at 1111 West Georgia Street.

You look like yourself, rested and well.

  4. 04

    Care

Follow up to review your result, plus wellness and longevity support under one roof, over years rather than appointments.

A clinic that knows your whole picture.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

What to Expect, and Who It Is For

What to Expect

  1. Consultation and assessment. A review of your skin, your goals, and your tolerance for downtime, with an honest answer on whether Morpheus8 is the right depth of treatment for you.
  2. Numbing and settings. Topical numbing is applied, and depth and energy are set to your skin and the area being treated.
  3. The treatment. About 45 to 60 minutes depending on the area treated.
  4. Right after. Redness and small pinpoint marks are normal for two to four days. Most patients wear makeup again the next day.
  5. The series. Sessions are spaced weeks apart, with a plan built around your goals rather than a fixed package.

Who It Is For, Honestly

Good candidates have textural concerns such as enlarged pores, mild to moderate skin laxity, or deeper lines, and are comfortable with a series of treatments and a few days of visible redness. Morpheus8 is safe across a wide range of skin tones because it works by radiofrequency energy, not light.

  • We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • We do not treat active isotretinoin use, active skin infection, or an eczema flare at the treatment site.
  • We will decline a plan built on expectations of a surgical-level lift that only a surgical procedure can deliver.

If it is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what would serve you better, even when that is nothing at all.

NATURAL RESULTS

Results That Still Look Like You

Natural results come from restraint: the lightest treatment that achieves the goal, and the discipline to stop there. Before anything is booked, we show you honestly what is achievable for your anatomy, and how results are likely to vary for you.

Beauty as a Spectrum is how we practice: every decade from the thirties onward, every skin tone, every style, held to the same standard. You, rested and well, never done. Individual results vary.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Morpheus8 Questions, Answered

Straight answers, the same ones you would get in the treatment room.

What does Morpheus8 cost in Vancouver?
Morpheus8 is priced per area treated and by the number of sessions in your course, typically three to four sessions for meaningful change. The honest answer is that an exact cost depends on your specific plan. You receive a written quote at your consultation, before anything is booked. We do not sell packages, and no one here earns commission on your plan.

Do you offer payment plans or financing for Morpheus8?
Your full cost is confirmed in writing at your consultation, and payment options are discussed with you at that time. We do not want you deciding on a treatment before you have seen the real number in writing.

What happens at the Morpheus8 consultation, and how long does it take?
Your consultation is an honest assessment, not a sales appointment. We review your skin, your goals, and your tolerance for downtime, and map a depth and session plan specific to you. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and there is no obligation to book anything that day.

How do I know if Morpheus8 is right for me?
Morpheus8 suits textural concerns such as enlarged pores, mild to moderate skin laxity, or deeper lines, in patients comfortable with a series of sessions and a few days of visible redness. If your goals call for a surgical level lift, or your skin is not ready for the treatment, we will tell you honestly at your consultation and recommend something that will actually serve you.

Who performs Morpheus8 at Promethean Clinic?
A medical aesthetician, under medical supervision, following a plan set by our nurse practitioner led, physician supported team. Our team includes Ashtin Ali, a medical aesthetician with over a decade of experience in advanced non injectable treatments, who specializes in Morpheus8, DP4 microneedling and IPL photofacials.

What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy for Morpheus8 appointments?
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, ideally at least 24 hours. Exact terms are confirmed with you at booking. We would rather you call and rebook than skip a session altogether.

How many Morpheus8 sessions will I need, and what is the downtime?
A course of three to four sessions, spaced several weeks apart, is typical for meaningful tone and texture change. Redness and small pinpoint marks after each session settle within two to four days, and most patients return to makeup and normal activity the next day. Individual results vary, and we plan your specific course at consultation rather than selling a fixed package upfront.

Is radiofrequency microneedling safe for deeper skin tones?
It is generally safer across the range than light based devices, because radiofrequency energy targets water in the tissue rather than pigment, so it is not drawn to melanin the way a laser is. That does not make it risk free. Any treatment that creates a controlled injury can trigger post inflammatory hyperpigmentation in richer skin tones, so settings, spacing and your aftercare all matter, and we will discuss it directly rather than around it.
Who cannot have this treatment?
Radiofrequency is not appropriate if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, and metal implants in the treatment area need to be declared. We also do not treat over active infection, an active acne flare or a cold sore outbreak in the area, during pregnancy, or if you have taken isotretinoin recently. Tell us about isotretinoin even if you stopped months ago.
What do the first few days actually look like?
Expect to look like you have a strong sunburn for the first day or two, with heat, tightness and visible pinpoint marks in a grid pattern. Swelling is usually at its worst the morning after, not on the day. Most people are presentable within two to three days and fully settled within a week, though this is not a treatment to book directly before an event.
Why does sun protection matter so much afterwards?
Because you have deliberately created a healing response in skin, and healing skin pigments far more readily than normal skin does. Sun exposure in the weeks after treatment is the most common reason a good result turns into an uneven one. Daily broad spectrum SPF is not an upsell here, it is part of the treatment, and we would rather delay a session than treat skin that has just been in strong sun.
When do I see the result?
Not immediately, and that is the nature of it. The visible improvement comes from collagen and elastin your own skin builds in response to the injury, and that process runs over months rather than days. Most people notice texture changing at around six to eight weeks and see the fuller effect at three months, with remodelling continuing beyond that.
