THE CONCERN
When Skin Has Started to Soften, Not Sag
It shows up along the jawline first, usually, or across the cheeks: skin that used to sit close to the bone and now sits a little looser. Not enough to consider surgery, not even enough that most people would notice, but enough that you do, every time you catch a certain angle in the mirror.
The hesitation we hear is that radiofrequency gets sold as a replacement for a facelift, which it is not, or that results are exaggerated to justify the price. Both concerns are fair, and we would rather set the right expectation up front than oversell a gentler technology.
Forma works quietly: controlled heat delivered to the deeper layers of skin, encouraging your own collagen to firm gradually, without cutting or downtime.
No urgency here.
The right treatment can wait for the right reasons. If this is not your best option, we will say so.

Five Star Google Reviews, Rated 5.0 Overall
They told me upfront that Forma would not do what a facelift does, and that I probably did not need one yet anyway. Six sessions later my jawline looks like mine again, just firmer.

THE TREATMENT
How Forma Skin Tightening Works
Forma delivers controlled radiofrequency energy through the skin’s surface to heat the deeper dermal layers to a precise, monitored temperature. That controlled heat stimulates your body’s own collagen production over the following weeks, gradually firming skin from within rather than cutting or lifting it mechanically.
At Promethean, Forma is planned as a course, typically four to six sessions spaced one to two weeks apart, mapped to the areas that will genuinely benefit, usually the jawline, cheeks, and neck. We will tell you plainly if your degree of laxity would be better served by a surgical consult or a different treatment.
Most patients notice early firming after two to three sessions, with full collagen related results building over two to three months after the course completes. Individual results vary, and Forma is a gradual technology, not an instant one.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
What to Expect, and Who It Is For
What to Expect
- Consultation and assessment. A review of your skin laxity and goals, and an honest answer on whether Forma, a facelift referral, or nothing at all is the right next step.
- A written plan. The areas treated, the number of sessions, and the cost, confirmed before you begin.
- Each session. About 30 to 45 minutes of gentle, monitored radiofrequency heat. Most describe it as a warm massage.
- Right after. No downtime. Skin may look slightly flushed for an hour. You can return to your day immediately.
- The course. Sessions continue on schedule, with a progress check partway through to confirm the plan is working before continuing.
Who It Is For, Honestly
Good candidates are adults with early to moderate skin laxity who want a gradual, no downtime firming option and understand results build over a course rather than a single visit.
- We do not recommend Forma for significant skin laxity that genuinely needs a surgical lift, and we will refer you honestly if that is the case.
- We do not treat over active skin infections or certain implanted devices without clearance.
- We will decline a plan sold on facelift level expectations that radiofrequency alone cannot meet.
If it is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what would serve you better, even when that is nothing at all.
NATURAL RESULTS
Results That Still Look Like You
Natural results come from restraint: the lightest treatment that achieves the goal, and the discipline to stop there. Before anything is booked, we show you honestly what is achievable for your anatomy, and how results are likely to vary for you.
Beauty as a Spectrum is how we practice: every decade from the thirties onward, every skin tone, every style, held to the same standard. You, rested and well, never done. Individual results vary.
Consented patient photography is in preparation. We publish real, unretouched results only, with written permission, and never sensationalized transformations. Individual results vary.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Forma Skin Tightening Questions, Answered
Straight answers, the same ones you would get in the treatment room.
- What does Forma cost in Vancouver?
- Pricing is quoted per session and per course at your consultation, in writing, before anything is booked, with no packages and no commission on your plan.
- Do you offer payment plans or financing?
- The full cost of your Forma course is confirmed in writing at your consultation, before anything is booked. Payment options for the course are discussed with you at that time.
- What happens at the consultation, and how long does it take?
- We review your skin laxity and goals, then give you an honest answer on whether Forma, a facelift referral, or nothing at all is the right next step. Plan on roughly 30 to 45 minutes, with no obligation to book anything that day.
- How do I know if Forma is right for me?
- Forma suits adults with early to moderate skin laxity along the jawline, cheeks, or neck who want a gradual, no downtime firming option, not significant laxity that genuinely needs a surgical lift. It is also a different tool from EvolveX, our body contouring protocol, and Quantum RF, the separate platform we use for specific plans. We will recommend whichever genuinely fits your goal, and refer you elsewhere honestly if none of them do.
- What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?
- We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a session, so we can offer the time to another patient. Confirm the exact notice period and any fee with our team when you book.
- How many Forma sessions will I need?
- Most plans are four to six sessions spaced one to two weeks apart, reviewed partway through. We will tell you honestly if your results suggest fewer or more sessions.
