Some patients arrive at Promethean already knowing exactly what they want: a specific device, recommended by a previous provider, researched in detail, or continued from a treatment plan started elsewhere. Quantum RF is usually that kind of request, a named radiofrequency platform rather than a general concern.
The hesitation we hear is reasonable: whether a clinic will simply say yes to a named device without checking if it is actually the right tool for the job, or substitute something else without telling you. We will not do either.
If Quantum RF is genuinely the right fit for your plan, we deliver it exactly as requested. If your goal is better served by Forma or EvolveX instead, we will say so plainly before booking anything.
No urgency here.

THE TREATMENT
How Quantum RF Works
Quantum RF delivers radiofrequency energy through the skin to heat targeted tissue at a controlled, monitored depth. Like other radiofrequency platforms, the resulting heat can support collagen response and tissue firming, and the specific settings and technique vary by the treatment plan it is used within.
At Promethean, Quantum RF is offered as part of individualized plans, most often for patients continuing a protocol started elsewhere, or where our clinical team determines the platform’s specific settings are the better fit for a particular concern. It is not our default recommendation for a first time visit: for facial firming we typically start with Forma, and for body concerns with EvolveX, unless your assessment points elsewhere.
Session length and course structure depend on the plan. Most patients are seen over a short course of sessions, with results building gradually over one to three months. Individual results vary.

What to Expect
- Consultation and assessment. A review of your goals and history, and an honest conversation about whether Quantum RF specifically, or one of our other radiofrequency protocols, is the better fit.
- A written plan. The treatment area, session count, and cost, confirmed before you begin.
- Each session. Radiofrequency energy delivered by our clinical team, with comfort and monitoring throughout.
- Right after. Minimal to no downtime, depending on the settings used for your plan. You can typically return to your day immediately.
- The course. Sessions continue on the schedule set for your specific plan, with a progress review before any adjustment.
Who It Is For, Honestly
Good candidates are patients who specifically want the Quantum RF platform, often continuing a plan begun elsewhere or referred by a previous provider, or for whom our clinical assessment determines this platform’s settings are the better technical fit.
- If your primary goal is general facial skin tightening, we will typically recommend Forma instead, and explain why.
- If your primary goal is body contouring, we will typically recommend EvolveX instead, and explain why.
- We will decline a Quantum RF request that our assessment shows is a poor match for your actual goal.
If it is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what would serve you better, even when that is nothing at all.
