About Us

Promethean Clinic is a medical spa in Vancouver that opened in 2024 with a specific clinical philosophy: the standards that apply in healthcare should also apply in aesthetics. That sounds obvious. In practice, it is not how the industry works, and Parveen Sangha built this clinic because she spent years in primary care watching what happened when it did not. We are a Nurse Practitioner-led clinic. That means our Medical Director holds full prescribing authority and diagnostic privileges, the same privileges she would use in a primary care setting. We are not a spa with a physician agreement on file. The clinical accountability runs through the people actually in the building.

Why We Exist

Parveen Sangha worked in family medicine for seven years before opening Promethean. During that time she also served as Medical Director for the Vancouver Coastal Health Regional Assisted Dying Program, one of the most ethically and clinically complex healthcare leadership roles in the province. She has seen both ends of what medicine looks like when it is done well and when it is not.

She saw patients arrive at her family practice dealing with complications from cosmetic procedures performed by people who had no business performing them. Vancouver has a significant grey market for injectable treatments. No prescribing authority. No medical oversight. No accountability when something goes wrong.

Promethean was the answer to that. A clinic where the person treating you is held to the same standard as the person who treats your blood pressure.

Parveen Sangha is a Nurse Practitioner with a background in family medicine and healthcare leadership. She completed seven years of primary care before founding Promethean. As Medical Director of the Vancouver Coastal Health Regional Assisted Dying Program, she managed one of the most sensitive and complex clinical programs in BC health services. She currently serves as President of the NP Council for the Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of BC, an advocacy and governance role for the profession across the province.

At Promethean, she performs injectables including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, Radiesse, Belkyra, PRP, PRF, and SkinVive. She also runs the IV therapy program and handles NP-level consultations. Every new patient’s medical history review happens through her.

In October 2025, CBC News quoted Parveen in an investigative report on aesthetic safety in BC. She spoke about the risks of vascular occlusion, tissue death, and permanent blindness that can result from incorrectly placed injectables. She also confirmed that Promethean regularly sees patients for corrective work after receiving treatment from unqualified injectors elsewhere in Vancouver.

“When patients come to us after a bad experience somewhere else, the most common thing they say is that nobody told them what could go wrong. We tell people what can go wrong. We think that is part of the job.” – Parveen Sangha, NP

Dr. Sara Zeinoddini is a Family Physician who specialises in aesthetic medicine. She serves as Medical Director for the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine Vancouver branch, where she trains and evaluates new injectors entering the field. That role gives her direct visibility into the quality gaps that exist across the Vancouver aesthetic market. She has seen what new injectors know and do not know before they start working on patients.

At Promethean, she performs injectable treatments and skin consultations. Her diagnostic background as a family physician shapes how she approaches every face. She looks for what is driving the change before she decides how to address it.

Dina Wang has eight years of focused experience in aesthetic injectables. She specialises in neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra, Radiesse, thread lifts, Belkyra, and PRP. She is also an Injectable Clinical Trainer at Clarion Medical and an educator and clinical instructor for the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. She has trained injectors across Canada.
Her approach is conservative and anatomy-driven. She maps the face before she injects and she thinks about volume as a structural problem, not a cosmetic one. She performs temple and nose fillers, dermal fillers, Sculptra, and thread lifts at the clinic.

“I think about faces the way a sculptor thinks about material. You have to understand what is already there before you decide what to change. Most overcorrection happens when someone skips that step.” – Dina Wang, RN

Polina Mikhailova is a dynamic and versatile professional specializing in social media marketing, with a rich background in TV and video production. At the clinic, she serves as the lead Social Media Manager and is a certified Medical Aesthetician. Polina combines her creativity, technical skills, and deep understanding of the beauty industry to effectively promote the clinic’s services and enhance the patient experience.

Polina’s social media expertise is unparalleled. She has a keen eye for finding the right angles and lighting, making any content look exceptional. She played a crucial role in setting up the clinic to ensure client photos are captured accurately while maintaining a calm and serene environment. Polina’s meticulous approach ensures that every aspect of the clinic’s social media presence is polished and professional. In her role as a Medical Aesthetician, Polina has developed exceptional skills in providing services that go beyond the procedure. Her ability to connect with patients, build long-term relationships, and make them feel safe and part of the family is truly remarkable.

In her spare time, Polina explores different cities, constantly seeking new experiences and inspiration. With her dedication, creativity, and leadership skills, Polina is an invaluable asset to the clinic, committed to helping it achieve its goals and providing exceptional care to its clients.

Natasha Errico graduated from the All Body Laser Institute in 2014 and has spent over a decade developing clinical skills across a wide range of aesthetic treatments. At Promethean she performs temple and nose fillers, DP4 microneedling, DiolazeXL laser hair removal, Morpheus8, IPL, facials, and skin specialist consultations.

She approaches skin health from a whole-person perspective, looking at lifestyle, nutrition, and internal factors alongside what she sees externally. Outside the clinic she practices yoga and explores Vancouver’s trails, which shapes her belief that skin health is not just about what you put on your face.

Ashtin Ali graduated at the top of her class from the Esthetics Program at John Casablancas Institute in 2014, earning the Award for Excellence. She went on to work at Skoah, then transitioned to medical aesthetics in 2020 at Urban Body Laser Clinic, where she also managed the clinic. She has taught over 80 students in esthetics and medical esthetics programs.

At Promethean she is the Patient Care Coordinator and the person most new patients meet first. She also performs laser hair removal, microneedling, and facials. If you feel comfortable before your first appointment, there is a good chance that is her doing.

Simona Dargevicius joined the Promethean team in 2025 and handles skin specialist consultations and treatment planning. She works closely with patients on skincare education and building consistent skin health routines that support their treatment outcomes.
Courtney Pelech is a Registered Nurse who joined Promethean to handle both skin specialist and clinical-level consultations. Her nursing background brings a clinical rigour to patient intake and treatment planning that goes beyond what a non-clinical team member provides.

Our clinical standards

Every new patient gets a medical history review before their first treatment. We use only Health Canada-approved products. We turn away patients who are not suitable candidates for what they are asking for, regardless of what they want to pay. Complications are handled in-house wherever clinically possible. We document everything.

The facility at 1111 W Georgia Street was built from the ground up as a medical aesthetic clinic. Seven treatment rooms, two consultation rooms, a dedicated numbing and IV lounge, soundproofing, accessible architecture, and views of the North Shore mountains. None of it was retrofitted into a space designed for something else.
