THE CONCERN
When Skin Looks Tired Even When You Feel Fine
Texture that has gone uneven, a dullness that makeup cannot quite fix, fine lines that have started to hold their shape even at rest. It is not damage exactly, it is slowed renewal, the kind that comes with time rather than any one thing you did wrong.
The hesitation we hear is about needles and downtime, or about paying for a treatment that is really just your own blood spun in a centrifuge and marketed back to you at a markup. That skepticism is reasonable when PRP is sold as a miracle rather than what it actually is.
Used well, PRP is a modest, well studied tool: your own concentrated platelets, reintroduced to support your skin’s own repair mechanisms, nothing added that your body did not already make.
No urgency here.
The right treatment can wait for the right reasons. If this is not your best option, we will say so.
PATIENT TRUST

Five Star Google Reviews, Rated 5.0 Overall
I expected another expensive facial. What I got was an honest conversation about what plasma can and cannot do, and a plan for three sessions instead of the six I was quoted elsewhere.
Representative placeholder. Replace with a real, consented five star Google review about this treatment before launch.
THE TREATMENT
How PRP Facial Treatment Works
A small blood draw is spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet rich plasma, the growth factor rich portion of your own blood. That plasma is then reintroduced into the skin, typically with fine microneedling, to support collagen production and the skin’s natural repair process.
At Promethean, PRP is planned around your actual skin concern, texture, tone, or early laxity, and combined with microneedling only when it will genuinely add to the result. We do not add plasma to every treatment by default.
Initial improvement in texture and glow is often visible within one to two weeks, with fuller collagen related change building over one to three months. A short course of two to three sessions is typical. Individual results vary.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
What to Expect, and Who It Is For
What to Expect
- Consultation and assessment. A review of your skin concern and health history, and an honest answer on whether PRP will meaningfully help.
- The blood draw. A small, standard blood draw, spun on site to concentrate the plasma.
- The treatment. Plasma reintroduced via fine microneedling, about 45 to 60 minutes, with topical numbing for comfort.
- Right after. Skin appears flushed and slightly swollen for one to two days, similar to a mild sunburn. Makeup can typically resume the next day.
- The course. Most concerns are planned as two to three sessions spaced a month apart, then reviewed.
Who It Is For, Honestly
Good candidates are adults with early texture, tone, or fine line concerns who want a gradual, natural feeling improvement and are comfortable with a short course of sessions rather than one visit.
- We do not treat active skin infections, certain blood or platelet disorders, or during pregnancy.
- We do not recommend PRP alone for concerns that genuinely need volume or a neurotoxin instead.
- We will decline a plan built on expecting surgical level change from a regenerative treatment.
If it is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what would serve you better, even when that is nothing at all.
NATURAL RESULTS
Results That Still Look Like You
Natural results come from restraint: the lightest treatment that achieves the goal, and the discipline to stop there. Before anything is booked, we show you honestly what is achievable for your anatomy, and how results are likely to vary for you.
Beauty as a Spectrum is how we practice: every decade from the thirties onward, every skin tone, every style, held to the same standard. You, rested and well, never done. Individual results vary.
Consented patient photography is in preparation. We publish real, unretouched results only, with written permission, and never sensationalized transformations. Individual results vary.
COMMON QUESTIONS
PRP Facial Questions, Answered
Straight answers, the same ones you would get in the treatment room.
- What does a PRP facial cost in Vancouver?
- Pricing is quoted per session and per course at your consultation, in writing, before anything is booked, with no packages and no commission on your plan.
- Do you offer payment plans or financing?
- The full cost of your PRP course is confirmed in writing at your consultation, before anything is booked. Payment options for the course are discussed with you at that time.
- What happens at the consultation, and how long does it take?
- We review your skin concern and health history, then give you an honest answer on whether PRP will meaningfully help. Plan on roughly 30 to 45 minutes, with no obligation to book anything that day.
- How do I know if a PRP facial is right for me?
- PRP suits adults with early texture, tone, or fine line concerns who want a gradual, natural feeling improvement over a short course of sessions. It is not the right tool for deep wrinkles or volume loss. If your concern genuinely needs dermal fillers or Sculptra instead, we will say so plainly at your consultation.
- What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?
- We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a session, so we can offer the time to another patient. Confirm the exact notice period and any fee with our team when you book.
- What does the blood draw and processing involve on the day of treatment?
- A small, standard blood draw is taken by a registered nurse and spun on site in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet rich plasma. That plasma is then reintroduced into the skin by a registered nurse and a medical aesthetician, under medical supervision, typically with fine microneedling, in the same appointment, about 45 to 60 minutes in total with topical numbing for comfort.
