THE CONCERN

When You Want More Than Another Coffee, But Are Not Sure What Is Real

You have likely read about NAD in the same breath as anti-aging, cellular repair, and dramatic energy turnarounds. Some of that comes from real early research. A lot of it is marketing built on top of a molecule that scientists are still working to understand at the doses and delivery routes clinics actually use.

The hesitation we hear most is reasonable: is this a real treatment, or a trend with a good story attached? Both can be true. NAD is a genuine, well-studied molecule inside the body. What is far less settled is how much benefit an IV infusion or injection of it delivers, and to whom.

Our approach is to offer NAD to patients who want to try it as one part of a wellness plan, explain clearly what is established and what is still being studied, and never promise an outcome the current research cannot support. If you would rather start with a broader vitamin and hydration formulation, our vitamin and hydration IV program is the wider category that NAD sits within.

No urgency here.

The right treatment can wait for the right reasons. If this is not your best option, we will say so.

THE TREATMENT

How NAD Injections Work

NAD, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a coenzyme found in every cell in your body, central to how cells produce energy and repair themselves. NAD levels are understood to decline with age, which is the basis for interest in supplementing it, though the size and durability of any effect from an outside dose is still an open question in the research.

We offer two delivery methods. NAD IV infusion delivers the compound directly into the bloodstream over one to three hours, often alongside fluids and other nutrients, and is typically used for a more concentrated, supervised session. NAD injection is a smaller intramuscular or subcutaneous dose, delivered in minutes, often used between infusions or as a lower-commitment starting point. Neither route bypasses the honest conversation about what NAD is, and is not, likely to do for you.

At Promethean, every NAD plan starts with a review of your health history and goal, whether that is energy, mental clarity, recovery, or general cellular and metabolic support, delivered under medical supervision. The evidence for NAD supplementation in these areas is still emerging and, in places, limited, and we say so directly rather than borrowing confidence the research has not earned. Individual results vary, and some patients notice little to no difference.

HOW WE PRACTICE

The Promethean Standard, Applied

The same four disciplines govern every treatment we offer, including this one. This is what medically led means in practice.

  1. 01

    Assess

A medical assessment of your health history, your anatomy, and your goals, and an honest answer on whether this treatment is right for you at all.

You leave knowing what is realistic for you.

  2. 02

    Plan

A written plan for your treatment: dosing or settings, timing, cost, and what it will and will not change. Nothing added that does not serve the outcome.

You know exactly what to expect, and why.

  3. 03

    Treat

Conservative technique from our nurse practitioner led, physician supported medical team, in our purpose built clinic at 1111 West Georgia Street.

  4. 04

A clinic that knows your whole picture.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

What to Expect, and Who It Is For

What to Expect

  1. Consultation and assessment. A review of your health history and goals, and an honest conversation about what NAD is being studied for and where the evidence is still limited.
  2. Choosing a delivery method. IV infusion for a longer, more concentrated session, or injection for a shorter, lower-commitment dose, matched to your goal and schedule.
  3. A written plan. The exact protocol and cost, confirmed before you begin.
  4. The session. An IV infusion runs one to three hours seated in our dedicated IV lounge; an injection takes only minutes. Both are monitored.
  5. Right after. Some patients notice a wave of warmth, mild nausea, or flushing during an IV infusion that settles quickly. Most return to their day the same day.
  6. Ongoing plan. Frequency, if any, is set to your goal and reviewed at each visit, not a fixed subscription schedule.

Who It Is For, Honestly

NAD may suit healthy adults curious about an emerging area of cellular and metabolic wellness, who understand it as one part of a wider plan and not a substitute for established medical care, sleep, nutrition, or exercise.

  • We do not offer NAD as a treatment or cure for any disease, including addiction or neurological conditions, and we are direct with patients who ask about it for those reasons.
  • We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical sign off.
  • We do not treat certain cardiac, kidney, or fluid balance conditions without physician clearance for the IV route.
  • We will decline a plan built on a benefit the current research cannot honestly support.

If it is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what would serve you better, even when that is nothing at all.

COMMON QUESTIONS

NAD Injections Questions, Answered

Straight answers, the same ones you would get in the treatment room.

What does NAD therapy cost in Vancouver?
Pricing depends on the delivery method and protocol, since an NAD injection and a full IV infusion are different sessions with different costs. You receive an exact written quote at your consultation, before anything is booked, with no packages and no commission on your plan.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?
The full cost of your NAD plan is confirmed in writing at your consultation, before anything is booked. Payment options are discussed with you at that time, so there are no surprises on the day of your session.

What happens at the consultation, and how long does it take?
We review your health history and goals, then give you an honest account of what NAD is being studied for and where the evidence is still limited, so you can decide with clear information. Plan on roughly 30 to 45 minutes, and there is no obligation to book anything that day.

How do I know if NAD is right for me?
NAD may suit healthy adults curious about an emerging area of cellular and metabolic wellness, as one part of a wider plan rather than a replacement for established medical care. NAD is not a substitute for treating any diagnosed condition. If your goals are better served by changes to sleep, nutrition, or activity alone, or by seeing a physician for a medical concern, we will tell you that directly.

What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, so we can offer your appointment time to another patient. Confirm the exact notice period and any fee with our team when you book, since it can vary by appointment type.

How long does a NAD session take and how many will I need?
An NAD injection takes only a few minutes. An NAD IV infusion runs one to three hours seated in our dedicated IV lounge, depending on the dose and your tolerance for the infusion rate. How many sessions, if any, make sense for you is set by your goal and reviewed as you go, not a fixed package, since individual results vary and some patients notice little to no difference.
